RELIEF GOODS FOR REFUGEES

The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has advised the SMEs engaged in the manufacture of relief goods to contact the union immediately for supplies to the affected refugees.

President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver said the union has received immediate supply enquiries for tents, tarpaulins, canvas, ropes, bamboos, nivar, kit bags, beddings, mattresses, floor mats and water cans. In addition the importing countries also need food grains, cooking oils and utensils. Also washing and bathing soaps are urgently required by the host countries and donors to make the refugees comfortable.

He requested the SMEs manufacturing the relief goods to offer their goods and urged them to maintain quality and bench mark.

Those SMEs desiring financial support, warehousing facilities and logistic services are welcomed to contact the union for help, support and guidelines.
