The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has welcomed and appreciated the statement of Raza Rabbani, leader of Pakistan Peoples party (PPP), on the formation of exemplary government in Sindh.
President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver said it is heartening to note the spirit of healthy competition in good governance between Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), the PPP and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), and the business community is inspired by the prospects of stability in all the provinces and conducive environment due to much needed positive outlook of the political parties.
He said that with the PML-N in the centre and in Punjab and Baluchistan, PPP in Sindh and PTI in Khyber Pakhtun (KP) and each aiming at exemplary governance and management, the business community is expected to witness a period of economic prosperity.
He said it is a welcome sign to see that the politicians have realized that if they do not perform well they would lose in the next elections and moreover awareness has taken place and due to this awareness the voters will remain vigilant like the media and ensure good governance and good management. The union believes that the PML-N is a business friendly party and its leaders are bent upon resolving the issues of trade, industry and services in the right perspectives. The business community is now inspired and geared up to enhance production and exports under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif as the new prime minister of Pakistan and his team of experts.
The union has called upon the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to join the mainstream and declare its business friendly policy for the stability of Karachi for peaceful, progressive environment in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and adjoining areas in the best interest of promoting growth and prosperity in Pakistan.
