UNISAME SAYS “NO FREE ELECTRICITY FOR ANYBODY”

The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) asserted that it is unfair to allow free electricity to anybody. Everyone needs to pay in all fairness. President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver said because of this free electricity there is a lot of burden on those who have to pay.
He lamented that now the new increase in the rate will prove disastrous for SMEs and also the big industries and many units will close down.
The UNISAME Council members apprehended that there will be unemployment and according to them there will be huge protest as now it is become unaffordable for the domestic consumers as well.
They claimed that since Pakistan is a welfare state free electricity may be given to those who are living below poverty line and not to the well to do and those who can afford it.
These are simple rules which a cabinet of dozens of members must know and cannot afford to neglect.
